‘Lovely Runner’ Villain Kim Young-soo Dies, Seon♥Sol Heartfelt Reunion

In a recent interview, Heo Hyung Kyu answered the audience’s question about why the taxi driver he played pursued Sol and Seon Jae for 15 years and still did not forgive him. He said:

“Kim Yeong Soo did it for no reason at all, he’s a bad guy so you don’t have to try to understand him. He was born a bastard and Im Sol’s fate was unlucky when you meet him”

In a dramatic finale, the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama “Lovely Runner (선재 업고 튀어), ” concluded with the death of the villain Kim Young-soo (played by Heo Hyung-kyu), bringing an end to his reign of terror and reuniting the lead characters, Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon) and Ryu Seonjae (Byun Woo-seok).

On the episode aired on the 28th, Kim Tae-sung (Song Geon-hee) intercepted Kim Young-soo’s taxi to save Ryu Seonjae, who was on the road. In a desperate attempt to escape, Kim Young-soo shoved Kim Tae-sung and ran across a busy highway, only to be struck by a dump truck and fall into a river below, resulting in his death.

Meanwhile, Ryu Seonjae, who had collapsed from the pain of recovering his memories, woke up in tears, recalling Im Sol’s confession of love in the village of Dampori.

Im Sol learned of Kim Young-soo’s death through a news report on the taxi radio. Panicked, she sought information about Ryu Seonjae and discovered he had been taken to the hospital emergency room following a traffic accident. She hurried to the hospital to find him.

In a fateful moment, the two reunited. Seeing Ryu Seonjae safe, Im Sol cried tears of relief.

Ryu Seonjae, with a mix of teasing and sincerity, asked, “Did you always cry like that when you were alone? Missing someone you forgot?” He continued, “See, I told you it was a sad ending. Are you still thinking about changing the ending?”

He then added, “But what should we do? It seems the ending has already changed,” and walked over to hug Im Sol.

Im Sol initially tried to push him away, but was shocked when Ryu Seonjae said, “Sol, I remember everything.”

Ryu Seonjae, now fully aware of his past, questioned her, “Why did you do it? How could you think of erasing yourself from my life? How could you expect me to live without you? Did you really think that would work?”

Realizing Ryu Seonjae had regained his memories, Im Sol tearfully called out his name, “Seonjae-ah.”

Ryu Seonjae comforted her, apologizing, “I’m sorry for being late. I’m sorry for forgetting,” before kissing her, sealing their heartfelt reunion.
