‘Never mistake silence for weakness,’ Maggie wrote.
“Never mistake silence for weakness,” her post began. “Remember that sometimes the air stills, before the onset of a hurricane.” Her Instagram post also included a black and white portrait of her fiercely looking at the camera.
While her post may seem like a normal, ordinary quote, some netizens think it is a manifestation of how empowered Maggie is right now, despite the different hurdles she’s going through as a mother.
“That’s woman empower! Hala beware! Fierce queen!” one netizen wrote. Others threw in compliments for the gorgeous Maggie.
Her post comes several months after she revealed a heartbreaking conversation between him and her son.
Maggie Wilson’s fight for her son
As of writing, Maggie has been reportedly denied access to his son, Connor Consunji, for nearly two years. Connor is Maggie’s son with real estate tycoon Victor Consunji. The relationship between Maggie and Victor turned sour in September 2021, when they officially announced their split.
However, the separation drama intensified when Maggie was not allowed to see her son for the first time during Christmas of that same year.
In 2022, the legal battles between the ex-couple began. Victor filed adultery cases against his ex-wife Maggie, accusing her of having relations with businessman Tim Connor. Maggie then posted a couple of photos and videos disproving Victor’s adultery allegations.
In August 2023, after going off the grid for some time, Maggie reactivated her Instagram account. And the first thing she did was post her motherly sentiments as she longs for her son.
In a series of Instagram stories on August 31, 2023, Maggie implicitly talked about the reason she has been quiet for some time. The former beauty queen bravely uploaded a six-second recording of her voice call with her son. In the voice call, Connor can be heard in distress and crying for his mom.
“That’s what I dream of every night, waiting at the airport for you,” Connor uttered.
Maggie stated in her IG stories that the uploaded voice clip was just six seconds of more “unbearable” conversations with her son, Connor.
With these developments in her life, Maggie continues to call child protection services in the Philippines. She claimed that there have been no laws on parental abduction in the country.
“We have NO child protection services or laws on parental abduction in the Philippines. Something has to change,” Maggie expressed.
