Mark Herras, in a recent exclusive interview with showbiz reporter and talent manager Ogie Diaz, answered the question regarding the current status of his career.

Oftentimes referred by the media as the ‘bad boy of the dance floor’, Mark immediately provided his answer to the question, along with queries of his own worth as an actor as viewed by others.

According to Mark, if he base things on his previous works, he said he did okay.

Despite this, he indicated acceptance with what people he’s only worth now. “Itong nangyayari sa akin ngayon? Siyempre hindi,” Mark initially said.

“Kasi bine-base ko kasi yung ganitong… Ito na lang ba yung meron or pwedeng ibigay sa akin, or pwede kong gawin sa career ko?” he added.

“Bine-base ko dun sa mga huling ginawa kong trabaho ko, okay naman ako eh,” the so-called ‘bad boy of the dance floor’, said.

He also said that he’s not saying he’s very good but he also expressed belief that he did justice to the roles, particularly in antagonistic or ‘kontrabida’ roles.

“Hindi ko sinasabing okay ako, pero based dun sa mga pagiging kontrabida, ganun ganun,” he said.

Mark Herras, or Mark Angelo Santos Herras in real life, is a popular actor in the Philippines. He gained prominence after winning the reality talent competition on GMA-7 entitled “StarStruck.” He is known not only for his acting skills but also for his talent for dancing. The actor also used to be the love team partner of Jennylyn Mercado. Mark is married to actress and beauty queen Nicole Donesa. They tied the knot on September 8, 2021 in a civil wedding ceremony officiated by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.
