Miss Universe Philippines dropped the official headshots of the 2024 candidates, exciting pageant fans who are looking forward to meeting the next titleholder.
The 54 candidates stunned with their glam looks, as seen on the organization’s Facebook page on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
“Pilipinas! Presenting the official headshots of the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 delegates,” the caption read.
Among the 54 delegates are pageant veterans Ahtisa Manalo representing Quezon Province; Christi McGarry representing Taguig City; Kris Tiffany Janson representing Cebu; Cyrille Payumo representing Pampanga; Victoria Velasquez Vincent representing Bacoor, Cavite; Stacey Gabriel representing Cainta, Rizal; Anita Rose Gomez representing the province of Zambales; and Selena Antonio Reyes, the only married contestant in this year’s competition, representing Pasig City.
The Miss Universe Philippines earlier presented 55 aspirants at the official delegates presentation, but Kananga representative Natasha Jung announced on Thursday, Feb. 22, her withdrawal from the pageant “due to personal reasons.”
“As of the moment, I would like to prioritize my personal growth and commitments, and not to further involve the organization on the matter,” she said via her Facebook page.
“While stepping away as an official candidate of Miss Universe Philippines 2024, I will nonetheless remain committed to and continuously promote my individual causes,” she stated.
This year’s titleholder will inherit the crown from actress-beauty queen Michelle Dee, who ended her Miss Universe 2023 journey as part of the Top 10 finalists.
