This year she filmed one of her first major Hollywood roles in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
And Ruby Rose was clearly in a nostalgic mood this week as she shared a tribute video to her friend and co-star Vin Diesel.
The 30-year-old declared she was ‘missing (her) brother’ after they developed a close bond on set in the last few months

Australian-born Ruby has kept her 7.3million social media followers up-to-date with her recent filming commitments.
And it would seem she is missing working alongside hunky co-star Vin, who plays the title role of secret agent Xander Cage.
The Orange Is The New Black star shared a one-minute Instagram video on Wednesday showing the pair fooling around on-set.
She captioned the clip: ‘Missing my brother @vindiesel xXx already’.

Fooling around: In the highlight reel, Ruby and Vin are shown riding on a motorised scooter together
In the highlight reel, Ruby and Vin are shown riding into the sunset on a motorised scooter together, as Vin later bites on her ear lobe.
Elsewhere, the friends hack up a birthday cake together with hand axes, and Vin is seen carrying Ruby on his back.
The video also included a brief clip Vin posted to his Instagram account in February, in which the 48-year-old introduces Ruby to his followers on her first day on set.
‘So her first day of filming – the amazing Ruby Rose playing Adele. She’s a monster,’ he said.
‘He was the hero and anti hero in one’: Ruby has said she admired and related to many of Vin’s film characters in an emotional open letter she posted on Instagram earlier this year
Meanwhile, Ruby has previously revealed she grew up idolising the Fast and Furious star as a teenager in Melbourne.
Earlier this year, she wrote an emotional letter about Vin on Instagram, praising his ‘palpable’ energy and charisma on-screen.
‘Growing up I watched this man through XXX and Fast (and the Furious),’ she began.
‘First I imagined what it would be like to be him, As I got older I wondered how it would be to work with him,’ she continued.

‘He was the hero and anti hero in one. He protected people but unlike other secret agents on the screen – I related to Vin.’
‘He always made me laugh, he did the best stunts and he ALWAYS got the girl,’ she added, saying that he was someone she ‘wanted to live like’.
‘I never dreamed I’d step into a role from a movie I grew up watching, with a guy I idolised who I probably had a poster of on my wall.’
Fighting fit: The DJ, model and actress is certainly in shape to star in the high-octane action sequel
