An MMA fighter has been left sobbing uncontrollably on the mat after being caught with a powerful spinning kick straight in the groin.
You hate to see it, getting kicked in the nuts is honestly one of the most painful things that can happen, and this is one of the worst you’ll have seen.

Peter Stanonik was in the second round of his fight against Raymond Daniels at the Bellator 245 event in Connecticut last night (11 September).
Obviously, the fight was called off. Even in the brutal world of mixed martial arts, it’s way out of bounds to kick someone in the balls.
However, because the blows were unintentional, the fight was called as a no contest, rather than awarded to Stanonik after Daniels’ disqualification.

The news just keeps getting worse for him, doesn’t it?
The 32-year-old was caught where it hurts earlier in the fight, too. On that occasion, he was able to recover after taking the five-minute break allowed for illegal blows.

His 40-year-old opponent had been displaying some decent qualities, and didn’t mean to land his blow where he did, but rules are rules.

Stanonik was done, and everything was over but the crying.
After getting belted in his goolies, Stanonik was left on all fours, punching the mat out of sheer agony.
It’s so painful that many observers and pundits have said that it is the worst low blow that they’ve ever seen in the history of the sport.

If you watch the video, you’ll see that Stanonik certainly agrees with that assessment.

In an interview after the fight, Daniels expressed concern for his opponent, and explained he’d never intentionally kick someone in the groin.
He said: “I hope my opponent Peter is okay, obviously I never mean to hit anybody as far as low blows.

“Whenever I knock someone out or down, I hope they are okay so I definitely hope he is okay. Definitely not how I wanted the fight to go. I had an entirely different ending in my end.
“It’s the first time that’s ever really happened. First time I thought it was a body shot, but my foot is pretty big and covers a lot of ground.
“The second time I definitely hit him clean. He kicked me, knocked me off balance and made me miss a little bit. 2020 has been that kind of year, crazy year. I don’t normally miss my spin kicks like that.”
