Former WINNER member Nam Tae-hyun delivered his whereabouts and plans for a new start after overcoming drug issues
On March 13th, Nam Tae-hyun made a post on his SNS account, saying “I made a big mistake, but I’m sincerely reflecting on it and regretting it every day. Once again, I want to apologize and thank you once again for your concern and curiosity about how I’ve been doing”.
He continued, “After being discharged from the rehabilitation center, I got a space in the same building to continue to strengthen my effort to overcome my drug addiction”, adding “In the process, my heart and soul are still slowly recovering, but they have become a lot better now. I’m planning to gradually improve my bad lifestyle and my way of thinking here and try harder to blend in with the world.”
Nam Tae-hyun confessed, “After much consideration, I realized that what I ultimately have to do is ‘music’’, adding “While there are aspects that are intimidating and challenging, I think that the only way to repay those who wait and support me is with music that comforts and give happiness, not controversies anymore”.
Announcing his plan to release an album, the male singer said, “Since I have to do everything from scratch, working part-time and raising production costs little by little, it may take some time. But when these songs come out, I will make sure they will satisfy you”.
Lastly, Nam Tae-hyun promised, “I will continue to reflect on myself, repent, and live with a heart full of apologies to those who have been hurt.”
