Northwell Health will provide telehealth services to Walgreens throughout its retail clinics in New York state, the two companies announced Thursday.
The five-year strategic collaboration also entails Walgreens offering in-network pharmacy services for Northwell staff.
“We are very excited to partner with Walgreens to improve health, improve care and reduce costs through collaborative and innovative opportunities,” said Mark Solazzo, president of strategic initiatives and chief operating officer for Northwell in a press release. “This affiliation agreement strengthens our resolve and mutual commitment towards community health equity.”
