Be Cautious of C.anc.ers That Tend to Become More Common With Age
Age is one of many factors that increase the ris.k of c.anc.er.
There is an old saying: “A day begins in the morning.” The early hours of the day not only mark a fresh start but also provide valuable clues about your overall health. If you wake up and notice all five of the following signs, it's a strong indication that your body is functioning very well.
A good night's sleep gives your body time to recharge and recover from the previous day's activities. Healthy individuals typically wake up feeling alert, refreshed, and ready to start the day.
On the other hand, if you often feel exhausted, weak, or groggy in the morning despite getting enough sleep, it may be a sign of underlying issues such as toxin buildup, poor sleep quality, anemia, low blood pressure, or other chronic health conditions.
Most people visit the bathroom shortly after waking up. Paying attention to your urine can provide useful insights into your health.
If your first urine of the day is light yellow, relatively clear, and free of persistent foam, it generally suggests that your kidneys and urinary system are functioning properly.
However, if your urine is dark yellow, has a strong odor, or contains foam that does not disappear quickly (which may indicate protein in the urine), it is advisable to have your kidney function checked by a healthcare professional.
A healthy digestive system often supports regular morning bowel movements. According to health experts, ideal stool is typically yellowish-brown or brown, well-formed, and easy to pass.
Frequent constipation, diarrhea, loose stools, or stools that are sticky and difficult to flush away may indicate insufficient dietary fiber intake or digestive issues that deserve attention.
After 7–8 hours without food, a healthy metabolism naturally signals hunger in the morning. Feeling hungry and enjoying breakfast are positive signs that your stomach and digestive system are functioning well.
In contrast, if you wake up feeling bloated, nauseous, bitter-tasting in the mouth, or completely lacking an appetite, it may be worth paying attention to potential stomach, liver, or gallbladder problems.
Take a look in the mirror after waking up. People with good circulation and healthy organ function often have naturally bright, smooth, and healthy-looking skin in the morning.
If your face appears unusually pale, dull, or significantly swollen around the eyes and cheeks (excluding temporary puffiness from drinking excessive water before bed), it could be related to circulation issues or reduced kidney function that causes fluid retention.
Drinking a glass of warm water immediately after waking up is often recommended because it can help rehydrate the body, stimulate bowel movements, and support normal bodily functions.
But many people wonder: Should you drink water first or brush your teeth first?
Many dentists recommend brushing your teeth before drinking water.
During sleep, food particles left between the teeth can combine with minerals in saliva, promoting plaque and tartar formation while allowing bacteria to multiply in the mouth. Drinking water before brushing may wash some of these bacteria into the digestive tract.
Some people worry that brushing first removes beneficial digestive enzymes in the mouth. In reality, saliva production is greatly reduced during sleep, and the amount of these enzymes is relatively small compared with the bacteria that accumulate overnight.
For this reason, cleaning your mouth before drinking water is generally considered the more hygienic and scientifically supported approach.
