Doctors were initially left stunned when they discovered what appeared to be a strange growth inside a 9-month-old baby’s mouth. What

began as a frightening medical mystery quickly turned into an unexpected and ultimately relieving discovery: the “growth” was actually a small

toy lodged tightly in the child’s gums.

The shocking incident happened to Max Steiner, a 9-month-old baby boy, and his mother, Rowan Steiner, a 30-year-old mother from Utah,

USA. Like many parents, Rowan never imagined that a routine moment would turn into such a stressful experience.

It all began when Rowan was changing Max’s diaper and suddenly noticed something unusual inside his mouth. There was a blue lump visible

along his gums - something she had never seen before. Around the same time, Max began crying in a way that immediately concerned her.

Alarmed, Rowan took her son to the doctor right away.

At the initial examination, medical staff were unable to determine what the lump was. Its appearance was unusual, and it did not resemble

it’s really important to check them regularly and make sure they’re still safe.”
