People who are especially sensitive to insects should avoid direct contact.
And if you suddenly discover dozens or hundreds of insects around windows, walls, attics, or other sheltered areas, the situation is different. A large number of insects may indicate that they are using the building as a seasonal shelter.
That is a pest-control problem, not necessarily a medical emergency.

Chapter 3 ā Why Are Stink Bugs Suddenly Appearing Inside Homes?
Finding one stink bug indoors can be surprising.
Finding several around your windows can be even more alarming.
During certain times of the year, however, this behavior is completely understandable.
Some stink bug species seek sheltered locations when outdoor temperatures begin to change. Buildings can provide warm, protected spaces where insects can survive unfavorable weather conditions.
They may enter through small gaps around windows, doors, roof structures, vents, screens, or other openings.
Once inside, they may remain relatively inactive for a period of time. When temperatures rise again, they can become active and begin moving around the building.
This behavior can make it seem as though the insects have suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
In reality, they may have entered much earlier.
