IU & V reportedly spotted dining together at a luxury restaurant

On May 15 KST, an alleged photo of BTS member V and singer IU dining together at a luxury restaurant in Seoul spread rapidly via online communities and SNS platforms.

One netizen claimed, "I saw V at MOSU TTTTTT." They added on, "I was always calm no matter what celebrity I ran into.. But V, I'm not even a fan but he's not human. His skin looks like it was blurred by 100 percent.. And his face is 100 percent eyes.. I'm still awestruck.. Well, at least I got to take a pic(?)."

In the photos, V can be seen sitting across from a woman in a wide-brimmed hat and a flannel shirt. Many fans quickly raised speculations that the woman with V was IU, based on the flannel shirt, which fans claimed was one of the singer's favorites.

Furthermore, some netizens wondered if V and IU had dined together in order to celebrate IU's 32nd birthday, which falls on May 16.

Meanwhile, V previously appeared as the male lead in IU's "Love Wins All" MV in January of 2024. He was also spotted attending IU's encore concert in Seoul in September of the same year.
