A recent international study has reignited that conversation by examining one of the most discussed physical characteristics in dating: height.

Participants were presented with simplified illustrations representing individuals of different heights and were asked to select which potential partners they found most attractive.

According to the findings, men generally preferred women who were slightly shorter than the average female height in their region. Women, meanwhile, tended to favor men who were somewhat taller than the average male height.
