The reality is more nuanced.

There are no four specific chicken parts that are automatically poisonous or “toxic” to humans. However, some parts deserve more attention because of their nutritional composition, food-safety risks, or the way they are prepared.

Here are four chicken parts that people commonly question—and what you should actually know.

1. Chicken Liver: Nutritious, But Don’t Overdo It
