Drinking Hot Water Before Bed: What Does It Do to Your Body?
You Won’t Believe What Happens When You Drink Hot Water Before Sleep

Colon cancer is often called a “silent killer” because its early symptoms can be subtle and easily mistaken for everyday digestive problems. One woman’s powerful story is now drawing attention to this dangerous reality and urging people to listen to their bodies before it’s too late.
Radwah Oda, a mother from Texas, was diagnosed with stage-four colon cancer after months of dismissing what she believed were minor health issues. By the time doctors discovered the disease, it had already spread to her liver. Today, she is sharing her experience to raise awareness and help others recognize the warning signs she once overlooked.
Radwah revealed five key symptoms that appeared long before her diagnosis — symptoms that many people experience but rarely associate with cancer.
1. Changes in stool shape
One of the earliest signs was unusually thin, pencil-shaped stools. She assumed this was caused by constipation or diet and didn’t consider it a serious problem. However, this can be a warning sign of a blockage or tumor in the colon.
2. Blood in the stool
She occasionally noticed blood when using the bathroom but believed it was due to hemorrhoids. Because the bleeding wasn’t constant or painful, she didn’t seek medical attention. In reality, blood in the stool should never be ignored, even if it seems minor.
3. A constant feeling of incomplete bowel movements
Even after going to the bathroom, she often felt as though she still needed to go. This persistent sensation can indicate that something is obstructing the bowel.
4. Unusual pain in the upper abdomen
Radwah experienced pain under her right breast and initially blamed it on a tight bra. Later, she learned this pain was related to cancer that had spread to her liver — a sign the disease was already advanced.
5. Extreme and persistent fatigue
She felt exhausted all the time, even after resting. The fatigue became so severe that she needed to nap multiple times a day. Chronic fatigue can be linked to internal bleeding, anemia, or cancer-related inflammation.

Before receiving her diagnosis, Radwah also experienced unexplained weight loss, loss of appetite, and worsening abdominal pain. Like many people, she attributed these symptoms to stress or common digestive issues, delaying medical evaluation.
Radwah now uses social media to encourage people — especially younger adults — to take digestive symptoms seriously. Colon cancer is no longer a disease affecting only older individuals; cases among younger people are rising worldwide.
Her message is clear: if something feels wrong and symptoms persist, don’t dismiss them. Early detection can significantly improve survival rates, but ignoring warning signs can allow the disease to progress silently.

Medical experts advise seeking professional help if you experience:
Persistent changes in bowel habits
Blood in the stool
Ongoing abdominal pain or discomfort
Unexplained weight loss
Chronic fatigue
Radwah’s story is a sobering reminder that listening to your body can save your life. What seems like a small inconvenience today could be an early warning sign that deserves attention.
