Dry Mode is one of the most underused features on modern air conditioners. During humid weather, people often feel uncomfortable not because of high temperatures alone but because of excessive moisture in the air.
When Dry Mode is activated, the system removes moisture while operating at lower intensity than standard cooling. As humidity drops, the human body can cool itself more effectively through natural perspiration.
Many households report that a room feels just as comfortable at 26ยฐC in Dry Mode as it does at a much lower temperature in Cool Mode. Because the compressor runs less frequently, electricity consumption can be reduced.
This does not mean Dry Mode should replace Cool Mode entirely. On extremely hot days, cooling may still be necessary. However, during evenings, rainy days, or moderately warm conditions, Dry Mode can be an excellent choice.
Understanding when to switch between these settings allows users to enjoy comfort while keeping energy costs under control.
