“Isang magandang no comment!”
This was Paolo Contis’ reaction to his rumored relationship issues with his current beau Yen Santos.
The former Tahangang Pinakamasaya host had a brief chat with Pilipino Star Ngayon at the premiere night of his latest film, Fuchsia Libre, last Monday, May 13.
During the interview, Contis was keen to keep the focus on his new project rather than the long-standing speculation surrounding his relationship with Yen.
Despite his preference to steer the conversation towards the film, he was pressed on whether he and Yen have broken up, noting Yen’s recent deletion of her birthday post for Paolo and the fact that she has unfollowed everyone on Instagram, including her partner.
Paolo has also unfollowed everyone except Yen on his own account.
He went on to explain that they had made these changes a while ago, and it was only recently noticed. However, he did not provide any clarity on their current relationship status.
When asked why he unfollowed everyone except Yen, Paolo deflected with a humorous analogy, saying, “Dati pina-follow kita. Pero in-unfollow ko kayong lahat. Ang ibig sabihin ba maghihiwalay na tayong lahat?”
In response to further questions about his relationship with Yen, Paolo maintained his stance. “No comment. Libre naman magtanong, pero ‘yun ang sagot ko no comment,” he said briskly.
“Isang magandang no comment!”, he stressed.
He reiterated his desire to keep his personal life private, saying, “As I always say, masyado na kayong [maraming] alam sa buhay ko. So, I’d like to keep my personal life, personal.”
Paolo previously reaffirmed his relationship with Yen after denying romance rumors with Kapuso actress Arra San Agustin.
