According to a report filed by theofficers from the Namyangju Police Station on April 12 KST, singer Park Bo Ram (30) was at a private drinking gathering with 2 other friends on the night of her passing.
During the gathering, which occurred at a friend’s home, Park Bo Ram went to the restroom at around 9:55 PM. When she did not return after some time, one of the individuals present went to check on her, and found her slouched over the sink, unconscious. The friends present called 119 immediately and attempted to perform CPR on Park Bo Ram.
Soon, emergency responders arrived on the scene and transported Park Bo Ram to Hanyang University Guri Hospital. She was pronounced deceased at 11:17 PM.
The police intend on further investigating the cause of death by requesting an autopsy with the National Forensic Service.
Meanwhile, Park Bo Ram’s agency XANADU Entertainment has issued the following statement in light of the news of the singer’s passing:
“Park Bo Ram suddenly left us on the late evening of April 11. Our hearts are deeply troubled as we deliver this sudden news to her fans. A wake and funeral proceedings will be scheduled after a discussion with the singer’s family.”
