The late talented actor, who rose to stardom after starring in the blockbuster film, The Gods Must Be Crazy, breathed his last in 2003 after an illustrious career.
He died in the remote area of Tsumkwe, Namibia. As stunning as it might sound this publication has uncovered that his date birth was a mystery as no-one really knew when he was born. However, official records estimate he was about 58 or 59 years old at the time.
Investigations carried out have revealed that prior to his death he was reported missing after having gone hunting in the bush. His body was only found after his family conducted a search. However, the police did not confirm his death until July 5. Other reports have revealed that he died from multiple-drug-resistant tuberculosis while he was out on an excursion for hunting guinea fowl. Circumstances leading to his death remain a mystery
He is survived by his wife Kora, four daughters, and two sons.
He became a household name following the success of The Gods Must Be Crazy which played in every corner across the globe from 1981 and made a whopping $100m. Sadly, despite generating fortunes, it is believed he earned only about $300 for the role he played in the film.
The underrated legend and actor, born probably in 1944, died July 2003.
