Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico gave a sweet tribute to each other as they marked their eighth anniversary as a married couple.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, May 21, Solenn penned a message reminiscing about her and her husband Nico’s years of being together.
“4 years of dating, 1 year engaged, 8 years married. After 13 years, you still make me laugh, put effort into our everyday life, and have given me the family of my dreams and the life we had once talked about,” the actress wrote.
“Happy anniversary, my love @nicobolzico . Here is to 80++ more years of figuring life out together,” she added.
Nico then humorously replied, “Not sure 80+++ but 75 for sure.”
He also posted a carousel of their wedding photos on his personal Instagram account, remembering their special day.
“Exactly 8 years ago we decided that #ForeverMakesSense! Keep swiping to see the wedding evolution and sad ending!” Nico wrote before adding the hashtag “SosBolz.”
Celebrity friends and followers such as Iza Calzado, Bea Alonzo, Dominic Roque, Kim Atienza, Ruffa Gutierrez, Jackie Rice, Yasmien Kurdi, Nicole Andersson, and more greeted the couple on their anniversary.
Solenn and Nico have been married since May 2016. They tied the knot in Eglise Notre Dame in Combourg, France after years of dating. They have since welcomed a daughter, Thylane Katana, who was born in January 2020.
Three years later, the family of three welcomed their second bundle of joy, Maëlys Lionel, as Solenn gave birth to her in December 2023.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH in 2019, the couple shared their secrets to keeping their romance alive even after long years.
“I guess after the honeymoon stage in a couple, it’s very important that both make an effort to keep being romantic, to prank people, have fun, take time together and don’t get caught up at work 100% and forget about anything else about the world. Take the time to be with your better half and surprise her. Keep the romanticism going,” Nico stated.
Solenn added, “One thing you need is trust. Two, space so you miss each other. So when you see each other it’s more sweet and romantic. We see each other because we sleep in the same bed. And then just the effort like on Sunday he really comes with me to have lunch with my parents. We try to have a few trips a year together. We never give each other gifts though.”
Besides their happy and growing family with their lovely pets, Nico and Solenn also shared some of their funny moments together online and Nico’s club, The Bullied Husbands Club, which is dedicated to making his Wifezilla the happiest ever.
“I think the whole Bullied Husbands Club and the Wifezilla thing is because it’s actually the opposite. Like when we say we’re the bullied husband club, none of the members is actually bullied. But we actually show massive amount of respect for our wives so the bullied thing is kind of like to make it more fun,” Nico said in a previous interview.
“The wifezilla thing is actually the opposite. She’s so nice and tame. Except for some particular cases that she becomes a wifezilla. But it’s kind of the opposite. It’s just all good fun. I am a bit clingy. Just a bit. And she cooks for me a lot. She’s very hands on with everything she does. She’s very amazing,” he continued.
