While the script is poorly received, the couple’s chemistry, on the contrary, was adored by viewers. Returning with “Though I’m Not a Hero,” Jang Ki Yong will collaborate with Chun Woo Hee. In the drama, the actor plays Heo Keok Joo, who was born into a family with superpowers but lost his ability due to modern diseases. Without his superpower, Keok Joo still performs a heroic act: saving a woman from a fire. The woman in question named Do Da Hae (Chun Woo Hee) who was born to restore his power. The series will start filming in August.
On August 4, Jang Ki Yong also appeared at the Estee Lauder Lounge pop-up store event. This is the actor’s few public appearances after being discharged from the military. Nonetheless, his appearance at the event drew mixed reactions. Specifically, netizens targeted his weight and criticized his appearance, which can affect his performance in the upcoming drama.
