Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo Come Together For FIRST Time After Divorce at Baeksang Awards 2024 | Videos

Former South Korean couple Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo came together under the same roof for the first time since their divorce. The actors, often referred to as the Song Song couple when they were dating and married, attended the Baeksang Art Awards 2024 awards on Tuesday. Song Joong Ki was present at the ceremony as a nominee. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his film, Hopeless. Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo was invited to the awards show.

This was the first time that the exes were at the same event since their divorce in 2019. However, it seems like the duo did not cross paths. Videos of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo at the awards show surfaced as soon as the ceremony began. Song Joong Ki appeared on the screen several times. He was seen smiling and applauding for the winners at several points. He was also seen cheering for Kim Jong Soo, who beat him to win the Best Supporting Actor award.

The Vincenzo star was also seen greeting Kim Seon Ho at the awards show.

On the other hand, Song Hye Kyo directly appeared on the stage and admitted she was nervous. She walked out to present the Best Actress award to Lee Hanee for Knight Flower. Last year, Song Hye Kyo had won the award for her performance in Glory.

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo met on the sets of Descendants of the Sun (2016) and fell in love. The Song couple tied the knot in 2017. However, they parted ways and eventually got a divorce n 2019. Song Joong Ki tied the knot last year again. He married Katy Louise Saunders and welcomed a child with her.
At the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards held in COEX D Hall, Gangnam, Seoul, Lee Do-hyun, while accepting his Best New Actor award, mentioned his significant other, Lim Ji-yeon, in his acceptance speech.

During the ceremony, Yuna was awarded the Best New Actress in TV for her role in “The Day of the Kidnapping.” Overwhelmed with joy, Yuna expressed her gratitude for the honor and recognition alongside esteemed colleagues.

The Best New Actor in TV went to Lee Jung-ha for his role in “Moving.” Lee Jung-ha shared his fears during the filming, particularly of heights, and how the encouragement from the director and co-stars helped him overcome his anxieties. He dedicated his award to a recently bereaved family member, hoping to offer some comfort through his acknowledgment.

In the film category, Kim Hyung-seo (BIBI) received the Best New Actress award for her role in “Hwaran.” Caught off guard, she admitted she hadn’t prepared a speech but expressed her gratitude towards the director, staff, and others who contributed to her career, extending thanks to all of humanity for creating art.

Lastly, Lee Do-hyun, who is currently serving in the military and took a leave to attend the ceremony, received the Best New Actor award for his role in “Exhuma.” He regretfully mentioned not preparing a speech, thanked the director Jang Jae-hyun, and acknowledged co-stars Choi Min-sik, Yoo Hae-jin, and others for their support. He humorously noted the challenge of his role and his determination to excel, ending his speech by thanking his family and his girlfriend, Lim Ji-yeon, for their support.
