Many video clips uploaded on X depict unusual phenomena recorded in the sky before a devastating earthquake struck Japan.
At 16:10 local time, Japan experienced a strong 7.5 Richter-scale earthquake with a depth of 10km in the Wajima city area, Ishikawa prefecture. With its intensity, this earthquake led to a series of significant tremors. The Japan Meteorological Agency issued a high-level tsunami warning for coastal areas, mentioning that waves in the Noto region could reach a height of 5 meters.

While the situation regarding the earthquake and subsequent tsunami continued to unfold, some netizens also uploaded notable video clips, claiming these were unusual occurrences just before the earthquake struck.
One individual recorded a scene described as “shooting stars falling from the sky,” showing an image of a white streak swiftly crossing the sky at high speed. Meanwhile, another person captured images of two objects suspected to be meteors flying across the sky.

Additionally, several videos posted on X showed scenes of thousands of birds flocking in the sky and flying off in waves, forming what looked like patterns of waves. Similar videos depicted flocks of crows gathering around a tall building before the earthquake, drawing significant attention.
As of now, the relevant Japanese authorities have not responded to this issue. However, many people believe that these phenomena are precursors to natural disasters because throughout history, there have been numerous pieces of evidence suggesting that animals can sense natural disasters earlier than humans and exhibit peculiar behaviors before catastrophes occur.
