Stray Kids and IVE will show up at the world’s largest music festival Lollapalooza and showcase their global influence
According to the announcement on Lollapalooza’s official SNS on March 19th (local time), Stray Kids and IVE were named in the list of performers for Lollapalooza Chicago to be held Grand Park in Chicago, Illinois from the 1st to 4th of August. Especially, Stray Kids proudly appeared among the headliners of the event.
According to the Lollapalooza Chicago lineup, the concert will include performances of SZA, Tyler, the Creator, Blink 182, etc. Stray Kids, which recently headlined many famous overseas festivals such as I-Days, BST Hyde Park, etc., will once again prove their name as a global idol group. By performing alongside many world-class musicians, IVE also plans to raise the status of K-pop.
Setting impressive No.1 records four consecutive times on the US Billboard Main Chart “Billboard 200”, Stray Kids is stimulating fans’ curiosity for the grand performances they will present at the upcoming Lollapalooza festival.
In the meantime, the group will hold their fourth fanmeeting “SKZ’S MAGIC SCHOOL” at KSPO DOME, Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul for three days from the 29th to the 31st of March and meet their fans.
On the 13th, IVE’s first world tour “SHOW WHAT I HAVE” in the US started with the first show at Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Despite lacking promotion in the US even after they released the first English title “All Night” in January, IVE once again certified their popularity in this country by entering arena venues and selling out their shows from the beginning of the US tour. While continuing their US tour in Fort Worth, Atlanta, Rosement, and Newark, IVE will also confirm their first debut on the Lollapalooza Chicago stage to accelerate their global activities.
Apart from their impressive achievements in Korea, IVE has stayed on the US Billboard charts for more than a year, starting with entering Billboard two weeks after their debut with the song “ELEVEN”, “LOVE DIVE” and “After LIKE”. American magazines such as TIME, Forbes, Grammys and the British music magazine NME have been pouring compliments on the potential of IVE and raising high expectations for the future of the girl group.
