Survival of a 7-year-old b.o.y after 5 days
B.o.y Tinotenda Pudu survives and is found after 5 nights lost in a wildlife park with many dangerous animals such as lions and hippos.
CBS on January 3 quoted a post by Zimbabwean MP Mutsa Murombedzi, in which he announced the case of 7-year-old boy Tinotenda Pudu, who got lost in a wildlife area in Matusadona Park and spent many days living among animals such as elephants and lions.
Matusadona Park management said Pudu got lost about 48 km from his home, surviving on his own for 5 nights before being found by rangers. According to MP Murombedzi, the boy survived thanks to his understanding of the wild and his survival skills. During his time lost, the boy ate fruit and dug deep into a dry riverbed to find water.

Local Nyaminyami community members took it upon themselves to search for Pudu, beating drums every day in the hope that he would find his way home. Rangers followed small footprints and found the boy.
Matusadona Park covers an area of about 1,400 square kilometres and is home to species such as lions, hippos and elephants, all of which can pose a threat to humans. According to the BBC, there are currently around 40 lions in the park.
MP Murombedzi praised the rangers and local communities who worked hard to find Pudu, calling his safe return "a testament to the power of unity, hope, prayer and never giving up".
