The post also said, ‘The #FortnightVideo with @postmalone premieres at 8pm EST. We’ll be calling a board meeting to watch along at the link in our story.’

Some of his distinct tattoos include the words ‘Always Tired’ beneath his eyes, as well as his daughters initials, DDP, along the forehead, ‘Stay Away’ over one eyebrow, playing cards, barbed wire at the hairline and also a medieval gauntlet with a flail weapon on one cheek.

In her announcement post revealing Fortnight was her first single (on her Instagram Thursday morning), Taylor gushed about Post Malone.

She wrote: ‘I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever.’

Adding: ‘I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on Fortnight. Honestly I can’t wait for you guys to heard this song at Midnight TONIGHT and see the video at 8pm ET TOMORROW.’

On Thursday, after announcing Fortnight as the first single, Taylor released a sneak peek of the video.

Some fans thought some parts of the music video appeared to draw inspiration from Bella Baxter – a character played by Emma Stone for the movie Poor Things.

She wore a Victorian style black dress in one scene, before appearing to be tied down in an experiment type situation.

Other fans thought the white dress in one scene resembled the one she wore to the Grammys in February – the same place she announced her album The Tortured Poets Department.

In the video, Taylor wore a dress Toni Maticevski, a very similar look to her Schiaparelli Grammys dress.

Interestingly enough, Taylor wore a Lorraine Schwartz custom choker to the Grammys – with a watch head as the main element –  with the hands on it set to midnight – which appears to be an Easter Egg regarding the album she hours later announced at the Grammys stage.

Fortnight appears to be about her ex Matt Healy, whom she dated briefly in summer 2023 – from May 2023 until June 2023.

There also appears to be hints that parts of the song could be referring to her other ex – Joe Alwyn, whom she dated for six years until they split in April 2023.

The Matt Easter eggs appear to be the typewriter, which Posty is seen at in the sneak peek.

Taylor also sits at the typewriter, appearing to get emotional later.

Matt, who is the lead singer of 1975, spoke out about his love for typewriters in 2018, telling GQ they are something he ‘couldn’t live without.’

Another clue could be the title, as the word Fortnight means a period of two weeks, perhaps referencing their brief romance.

Another lyric, ‘I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary,’ appear to reference Matt as a rebound from Joe.

A lyric that appears to be about Matt, Taylor sings ‘I love you, it’s ruining my life,’ that could refer to his controversial behavior.

Taylor also said ‘I was a functioning alcoholic till nobody noticed by new aesthetic,’ wehich could refer to how she felt numb from her previous relationship with Joe – and how her new aesthetic was with Matt.

The video appears to be set in a psych ward and the caption for the tattoo image – Nurse, she’s out again,’ appears to confirm that.

Fornight’s music video featuring Taylor and Posty will be released at 8pm EST on Friday, April 19.
