Tom Rodriguez responded in a humorous way to negative comments on his version of Bruno Mars’ “Versace on the Floor,” after agreeing to remarks that he sounded like cartoon character Mickey Mouse in his cover.

Rodriguez shared a video of himself singing the R&B track last Feb. 22 on his TikTok page. The clip apparently resurfaced recently on TikTok feed after netizens commented and interacted with the post.

Rodriguez, in turn, made a reaction video on his song cover on Monday, April 1.

“Nandito ako para mag-react [sa] cover ko ng ‘Versace on the Floor’ by Bruno Mars as Mickey Mouse… Ay, oo nga,” he said as he listened to himself belting out the chorus. “Hala, paano mag-delete? Hala, paano i-only me?”

(I am here to react to my cover of “Versace on the Floor” by Bruno Mars as Mickey Mouse. Oh, I agree. Oh my, how do you delete this? How can I change the public settings to “only me”?)

The actor also “reacted” to his reaction videos, seemingly poking fun at netizen comments saying the actor is “fighting” himself.

In a separate video, he showed himself covering his mouth as well, as requested by netizens.

Rodriguez had a two-year hiatus after his separation from actress Carla Abellana. The actor made his showbiz comeback last February.
