Sinagot ng nagbabalik-showbiz na aktor ang mapangahas na tanong tungkol sa kanyang dasal para sa ex-wife niya.
“I really wish her well. Every one of us deserves happiness and I truly wish that for her,” mabilis na sagot ni Tom.
TOM’S DARK TIME
Sa naturang panayam din inamin ni Tom na dahil sa matinding pagsubok na pinagdaanan, bunsod ng pagtatapos ng relasyon nila ng aktres, pumasok sa isip niyang tapusin ang sariling buhay noong mga panahong madilim ang lahat para sa kanya.
Saad ng aktor, “It was really dark that I thought I was gonna do something to myself that’s irreversible.
“’Oh, Tito Tom was able to this, I can do it too.’ And I thought I owe them more than that.
“And now I owe my younger self that you can go through the hardest unos, bagyo, kahit ano ang dumaan sa buhay mo, as long as you find that integrity within yourself again.
“You build a trust within yourself and love for yourself and those who matter the most to you, kayang-kaya mo pa rin.”
Inamin ni Tom na iniyakan niya nang maraming beses ang pinagdaanang problema, pero may malaking aral daw siyang natutunan.
“Pinakamalaking lesson was kinailangan kong matutunan kung paano pagdaanan lahat ng ingay sa buhay na kalmado lang.
“Hindi ko kayang bumagsak lahat. I started… when other people say na starting from zero, at the time, I was like starting at the negative’coz a lot of the things that I thought meant a lot to me, disappeared.
“And then, you realized in that lowest moment, you have a lot to be grateful pala. You have a lot to be thankful for.
“Natutunan ko rin about love, you have to live and vibrate in a frequency of love.
“Kasi yung itanim mo, fear, takot, kaba. Yung aanihin mo, insecurity, kamalasan.
“At kapag ganoon, wala na talaga,” pahayag ni Tom.
NEW INSPIRATION
Napangiti naman si Tom nang mapag-usapan ang bagong pag-ibig at inspirasyon niya.
Aniya, “I believe that love does find you when you are ready for it.
“And when it found me, I thought my doors would be close forever, hindi pala, because I am experiencing it again now.
“And it’s something that I will treasure and cherish and really do my best to really protect it.
“Like I said, this time around, my previous relationships were almost open to the public.
“And what I really learned was to put up healthy boundaries.
“This time around, I’m gonna keep it for myself and those people that are very important to me.
“Sorry na nagdadamot ako. Not for bad reasons.
“Pero para sa akin lang, yun ang natutunan ko, to treasure and cherish what you do have.”
Tanong ni Boy Abunda sa kanya, “Why did you admit that you have a girlfriend?”
Sagot ni Tom: “Why not? I’m not hiding.
“I don’t wanna live life na nagtatago ako, you’re avoiding people.
“I wanna live my life but, at the same time, I wanna put up those boundaries.
“Hindi ko naman freely ibibigay rin lahat kasi para sa amin yon.
“I’m not hiding and I would freely admit, I am seeing someone.
“But the details of those, sa akin na lang po.”
Gaano siya kasaya ngayon?
“Very happy!” sambit ni Tom.
