Cardi B Twerks Through Her Jumpsuit While Performing at Bonnaroo
Whoops! Cardi B twerked a little too hard and tore through her skintight rainbow bodysuit during her performance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival on Sunday, June 16. Instead of letting a wardrobe malfunction mess her up, she walked off stage and returned moments later in a bathrobe.
“We gonna keep it moving, baby,” the 26-year-old announced to fans after she came back on stage. “We gonna keep it sexy.” The “Please Me” artist definitely teased the crowd a bit by pulling down the fluffy robe and exposing her tan bra.
We love her confidence and she looked damn good while finishing her performance — robe and all. Despite the ~costume change,~ fans gushed about the show. “Been wanting to see [Cardi B] for the longest and she did not disappoint,” one person wrote on Twitter. Someone else added, “Cardi B had a fire Bonnaroo set no cap.”
This was one of Cardi’s first performances since she took a brief hiatus after undergoing plastic surgery. She rescheduled shows in El Paso, Texas, and Baltimore, Maryland, “due to circumstances beyond her control.”
The “Money” artist recently opened up about having liposuction and admitted that it took a toll on her body. “I want to explain to people how hard it is to process,” the Grammy winner told ET on May 8, about why she was so candid about the procedure. “I feel like people look at girls on Instagram and go, ‘Oh, they got their lipo done and it was so easy.’”
The rapper even compared it to when she gave birth to her daughter, Kulture, last July. She noted, “It is just such a long, hard process, almost like the same process as after you give birth to a baby and you see your body change and snapping it back.”
It’s great to see Cardi back on stage. Who knows what surprises she’ll have for fans next!
Britney Spears has X-rated wardrobe malfunction as her BOOB falls out during live performance
Britney Spears has one of the most successful residencies in Las Vegas, but it all went a little wrong last night.
The legendary icon, who released her latest album Glory to rave reviews last year, hit the stage last night in Sin City to a sold-out crowd.
During a performance of one of her string of smash hits, the star unfortunately had a major wardrobe malfunction that left her exposed.
As she pulled off a tricky dance move, the star’s boob popped out of her top and the moment was caught by an eagle-eyed fan.
It appears that a dancer accidentally grabbed the wrong part of the stars outfit, which led to the unfortunate incident.
After making a comeback last year, Britney is back and has even blagged herself an absolute hunk of a boyfriend, 22-year-old fitness model Sam Asghari.
But a Lifetime biopic that comes out later this month has threatened to hark back to painful memories the star won’t want to relive.
The film has described it as “the tumultuous story of pop icon Britney Spears’ rise to fame, fall from grace and eventual triumphant resurrection, firmly securing her position as one of the world’s greatest entertainers.”
Australian actress Natasha Basset has taken on the role of the 35-year-old, which will see her donning some of Britney’s iconic stage outfits and recreating the events in 2007 that led to the singer shaving her hair off in Esther’s Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, California before she attacked a photographer’s car with an umbrella.
Discussing the role, Natasha explained: “I mean, she’s not like anybody else. Her entire life, she’s been chased by paparazzi, and she’s constantly being scrutinized and in the public eye, so it’s not normal.”
“I really appreciated how strong she is. Emotionally, the way she got through the constant pressures that she was faced with is admirable. ”
Grin and bare it! Taylor Swift has a Marilyn Monroe moment when skirt blows up on stage
If Taylor Swift wasn’t a Girl Scout when she was young, we’d be very surprised.
Because the 21-year-old was more than prepared for the potentially-embarrassing wardrobe malfunction she suffered on Saturday night at her gig in St Louis, Missouri.
Taylor managed to avoid the mortification of yards of flesh being exposed to the masses by wearing very sensible underwear.
During a performance of her song You Belong With Me, the Grammy winner’s blue dress blew up thanks to fierce gust from the wind machine.
It was eerily reminiscent of the famous scene in 1955’s Seven Year Itch, in which the skirt of Marilyn Monroe’s white halter neck dress is lifted by a violent breeze from a passing train as she stands on a subway grate.
And though Swift revealed her less than pretty seamless panties, the practical nude coloured garment spared her blushes.
The young star dealt with the whole debacle with a aplomb, in fact, and avoided the embarrassment levels of many of her fellow celebrities.
She patted down her skirt as quickly and firmly as possible, and simply got on with performing her show – to cheers from the audience.
Unlike many of her contemporaries, the country sensation is modest when it comes to flaunting her enviable figure.
In April she told The Telegraph that she ‘[doesn’t] feel comfortable taking [her] clothes off.’
‘I wouldn’t wear tiny amounts of clothing in my life, so I don’t think it’s necessary to wear that stuff in photo shoots,’ she added.
And it hasn’t affected her popularity, the pretty star was the runaway success of the Teen Choice awards last Sunday, scooping up six surfboard trophies including one for Ultimate Teen Choice.
Swift, who soared to popularity in 2006 at age 16 with her self-titled debut album, won a total of six awards: choice female music artist, country female artist, female red carpet fashion icon, country single for ‘Mean’ and break-up song for ‘Back to December.’
The crooner was also honoured for her contributions to entertainment with the Ultimate Choice Award, the show’s version of a lifetime achievement award.
Accepting her Ultimate Teen Choice surfboard onstage, Swift thanked her fans and joked: ‘It’s been a long time since I was a teenager, like two years.’
She noted how teenagers often are teased by adults because they are ‘intense’ or ‘romantic,’ but she encouraged kids in the audience and watching at home on the Fox TV network, saying: ‘I think all those things are amazing things, and to all the teens watching, I hope you never lose those things.’
