Not far away, the story of the Vietnamese-American couple, Peter Kahl and Le Dong Chung (43 years old) coming up below is a typical example.

It is known that this Vietnamese – American couple fell in love through a dating app exclusively for gay people. Not long after talking, they had their first meeting in Phu Quoc. Peter’s impression of Dong Chung is quite good while Dong Chung, on the contrary, does not pay much attention, and intends to “play for fun” because he has just finished falling in love. However, whatever comes will come, the two then have a “close” phase even though they just met for the first time. At the time of saying goodbye, the two sides exchanged phone numbers to facilitate communication.
Keeping in touch for a period of time, the love between the two arises at an unknown time. Peter is always the one to comfort and encourage when Dong Chung is in trouble or his mood “suddenly” drops. There is a saying from the other side that makes Dong Chung hard to forget: ” Don’t be sad, when one door closes, another one will open “.

Peter’s faith in Dong Chung is absolute. That is reflected in the fact that he did not hesitate to immediately transfer 10 billion into the opponent’s account and affirmed: “I am not afraid because I have loved him. Both families know and support the couple’s relationship. Peter’s parents even had a special fondness for Chung. They always hug and kiss the Vietnamese groom every time they meet, ask all kinds of things, and wait for him to wake up to have breakfast together.
If nothing changes, the couple will return to Vietnam in the near future to continue the journey to build a home. The reason why Peter made this decision is partly because he thinks about his husband, the other part comes from the fact that he also loves the S-shaped country.
The beautiful love story reminds us of a similar case not long ago, a gay couple sharing a house after 11 years of knowing and being fully supported by their family. That is the story of Thanh Duoc (26 years old) and Khac Trung (28 years old) who knew each other when they were children. However, after a while, the two separated because they went to work with their families.
At the end of 2018, the couple returned to their hometown on the same occasion and went out drinking with friends in the village. What surprised Khac Trung was that while the group sang karaoke, Thanh Duoc suddenly “moved hands and feet” with him. Because of the long time and meeting again, he did not blame Thanh Duoc, but pinned it in his heart, determined to make this guy drunk. Until late at night after everyone slept, Thanh Duoc shared that he did it because he wanted to impress Khac Trung.
After that evening, the following days Thanh Duoc went to his house to pick up Khac Trung to go out. Finally, on the night of the 30th New Year fireworks, Khac Trung accepted Thanh Duoc’s love. The couple went back to Tay Ninh to start a business together to take care of their parents. Finally, after 11 years of acquaintance, the couple held an engagement ceremony in December 2021, Khac Trung shared:
“My lover said, I want to have a wedding like everyone else, because I’m also old, youth doesn’t wait for anyone. We met since childhood, grew up side by side, and wanted to stick together. When we grow old with that wish, we proceed to the wedding. Fortunately for us, our parents love and love us very much. They said that as long as we are happy, other than that, it doesn’t matter what other people say. It’s important that we have courage.”
