Four months after his breakup with Kim Chiu, Xian Lim finally confirmed rumors that he is dating film producer Iris Lee in a tell-all interview with lifestyle magazine, Esquire Philippines.

In his exclusive interview, Lim said he is ready to discuss his past relationship with Chiu, whom he was with for 12 years, and his current relationship with Lee, who, like him and Chiu, is also of Filipino-Chinese descent.

Lee is a producer under Viva Communications Inc., is best known for producing the films “Bird Day” (2016), “Deleter” (2022) and “Hello, Universe!” (2023), where she worked together with Lim.

“Yes, I’m seeing Iris… Just to clear everything, to clear all the speculations. We are seeing each other and we are very happy,” the actor-producer confirmed.

Lim also denied that there was a third party involved in his split with Chiu, or that Lee played a role in their breakup. He likewise dismissed several other rumors that he had gotten married abroad, or that he was already living in with someone.

Prior to addressing dating rumors, the actor and Lee were recently seen together while location scouting in Thailand, though they were there with a few other companions.

Last December 23, 2023, Chiu and Lim penned separate confirmation of their breakup on Instagram, calling it the “end of a love story,” while summarizing their 12 years together as love not being “enough” to keep them together.

In the past, Lim had refused to discuss the real score between him and Lee, but in February, he piqued the interest of netizens after making cryptic posts about wanting what’s “real” and controlling his emotions.

Kim Chiu took to IG Stories and shared a quote that was discussing what real growth is.

It stated that “real growth” stars when one starts to check and correct oneself instead of putting the blame on others. “Real growth is when you start checking and correcting yourself instead of blaming others.” It also noted that one takes his or her power back by being responsible for his or her life.

Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.”

Recently, Kim posted about her night out with good friend, Bela Padilla. On Instagram, Bela was tagged by Kim, who recently posted about their dinner date. In her online post, Kim called Bela the “sweetest friend” ever and revealed the latter even brought her some bouquet of flowers. Needless to say, many netizens were touched to see Bela treat Kim on her birthday this year.

Meanwhile, in an episode of the noontime show, “It’s Showtime,” Kim was shown to be unable to contain her emotions after Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis and Vice Ganda shared their message with her. Vhong said, he will always be there and support Kim especially and when he was depressed he never left him. Anne is happy that she has a new sister in the person of Kim and besides Kim’s Ate Lakam, she is always there as her Ate Anne.
