Former LABOUM member Yulhee recently gave an update on her life through social media and shared with fans what she’s been up to.
Last December, Yulhee announced her divorce from F.T. Island member Choi Min Hwan. She announced that Min Hwan had taken custody of her children and revealed that she had moved out of their family home.
In an attempt to give an update to her fans, on June 5, Yuljee held a Q&A session through her Instagram stories, where she replied to questions sent in by her followers.
When a fan asked, “What are you up to these days?” Yulhee responded, “Actually nothing special, but I spend most of my time with my best friend (who is almost my boyfriend… ^^),” bringing surprise to fans.
She added, “We eat together, work together, do everything together… We are so close so it’s ironic when we get sad when we say ‘I’m going to go home and sleep’.” The photo she shared with the Q&A showed her enjoying leisure time with her best friend.
Meanwhile, Yulhee married Choi Min Hwan in 2018 and gave birth to three children. However, in December 2023, the two announced they would end their six-year marriage.
At the time, Yulhee explained, “After much time of consideration and conversation, we decided to support each other on our journies. While our journey as a couple ends here, we are still committed to being the best parents to our children and will continue to care for them together.”
Regarding Choi Min Hwan taking custody of the children, Yulhee explained, “We decided it was best for the children to stay in the environment they were used to, minimizing any psychological stress. Therefore, their father will take care of them. I also spend time with the children frequently to ensure they do not feel my absence.”
