Park Seo Joon Instagram: Actor Flaunts Coffee Cart Sent by IU
While currently working on his upcoming drama, Park Seo Joon thanked IU for sending a coffee truck to the filming set.
However, the South Korean star got creative and mentioned IU’s character in “Dream.”
“Somin PD, you got paid?”, Park Seo Joon ‘s Instagram post reads. Somin was IU’s role in the sports-themed movie where they both played lead stars.
The movie “Dream” (working title/director Lee Byeong-heon) is a pleasant portrayal of soccer player “Hong-dae” (Park Seo-joon), who is facing the biggest crisis in his career, and the challenge for the Homeless World Cup of a special (?) national team consisting of people who have never even held a ball before. Park Seo-joon and Lee Ji-eun (IU) made headlines for their first appearance together.
After completing the extraordinary journey of “Dream“, which finished its overseas filming in Hungary that was delayed due to the prolonged pandemic, director Lee Byeong-heon shared his thoughts, “I’m so grateful and proud of the actors and staff who endured the process of working hard for a long time together. We’ll work hard to complete the remaining post-production work so that the feelings we wanted to convey through this movie can be conveyed to the audience.”
Park Seo-joon, who played ‘Hongdae’, who became the head coach of the homeless national team, which was improvised as an opportunity to recover from the greatest crisis of a footballer’s life, said, “Finally, this is the day when the ‘Dream’ campaign comes to an end. It’s sad to say that it’s over, but I’m really grateful that I was able to finish filming safely. I hope the audience will love it a lot.”
Dreaming of a life-changing success, Lee Ji-eun (IU), who played ‘Somin,’ said, “It was my first movie shooting. It has accumulated more memories than any other work, so I think it will remain in my memory for a long time. It was a good time for me personally as I felt bright and light when I was playing ‘Somin’. I hope that the audience will be able to laugh a lot with ‘Dream’ and feel a warm heart.”
In addition, expectations are high for the performance of the homeless team and supporters who will perform acting ensembles around the soccer field. Kim Jong-soo as the soccer team’s spiritual leader Kim Hwan-dong, Ko Chang-seok as the mood maker Jeon Hyo-bong, Jung Seung-gil as the soccer team’s nerdy “Son Bum-soo,” Lee Hyun-woo as the timid ace “Kim In-sun,” Yang Hyun-min as a professional, and “Young-jin” as a documentary director.
