Pauline Amelinckx has ended her journey as Miss Supranational Philippines 2023 and The Miss Philippines titleholder.
Wearing a flowy orange gown with a thigh-high slit by Mikee Andrei, Pauline made her way to the stage to make her final walk at the Mall of Asia Arena last Oct. 24 during the Miss Philippines coronation night.
Talking to the pageant’s host, Andre Brouilette, the Boholana beauty shared the lesson that she will carry for the rest of her life.
“The lesson that I really learned this year is winning is not about the crown but it’s about the love that you feel. And because of everyone here, I feel like a queen,” she said before bursting into tears.
Pauline also imparted a short message to her fans, thanking them for being with her throughout her journey.
“It’s really thank you from the bottom of my heart. I also mentioned earlier in my interview, that dedication can make your dreams come true. So I hope that each and every one of you is dedicated to your own journey, and you can make your own dreams go through with their dedication and gratitude. Thank you so much for being with me,” she said.
That evening, she received the Miss Supranational Woman of Substance award from her pageant sister, Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera.
On its Instagram account, pageant camp Aces & Queens shared a tribute for the beauty queen.
“As one reign ends, another chapter of greater things begins. Being crowned thrice this year and recognized as the people’s queen isn’t just about acknowledgment; it’s a validation of your years of dedication and hard work in the world of pageantry,” it wrote.
“With or without a crown, you’ve always been a true queen. Keep inspiring and keep that fire burning. We are excited for what’s in store for you, we love you!”
During the pageant, Pauline crowned her successor Althea Ambrosio of Bulacan.
Pauline won three titles this year. In May, she was appointed as Miss Supranational Philippines 2023 following the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 coronation night. She finished as 1st runner-up in the international pageant and was named the first The Miss Philippines in August.
