Michelle Dee advances to Miss Universe 2023 Top 20

Michelle Dee of the Philippines entered the Top 20 at 72nd will be announced on November 19, 2023 (Philippine time).Miss Universe

84 countries are competing in this year’s pageant.

Hosts Maria Menounos, Olivia Culpo, and Jeannie Mai announced the Top 20 inside the National Gymnasium in San Salvador, El Salvador.

In this edition, the Top 20 candidates will compete in the swimsuit competition.

After that, the Top 10 will be announced.

The Top 10 will compete in the evening gown competition.

The Top 5 will also be announced immediately.

After that, the selected Top 5 will participate in the interview questions.

They will be screened again to select the Top 3.

The Top 3 will participate in the final questions.

  • Janelle Commissiong, Miss Universe 1977 from Trinidad and Tobago

  • Connie Mariano, Filipino-American physician
  • Iris Mittenaere, Miss Universe 2016 from France
  • Sweta Patel, Roku’s Vice President of Merchandising and Growth Marketing
  • Denise White, Miss Oregon 1994 and American businesswoman

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray along with American TV personality Zuri Hall served as backstage hosts.

This is the second time that El Salvador has served as the host country for Miss Universe.

In 1995, the said country served as the host country for the first time in Miss Universe.
