Ahn Hye Kyung has revealed an interesting, lesser known facet of actor Song Joong Ki. During her guest appearance on SBS’s ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny’, she recalled details about her interaction with the ‘Reborn Rich’, who expressed his desire to host her wedding and even offered his Rome house for a honeymoon stay.
Revealing deets of their conversation, Ahn Hye Kyun said, as quoted by kdramastars, “I had a video call with Song Joong-ki, and he said, ‘I’ll host the wedding for you, Hyung (the older brother).’ I thought I was dreaming.
Song Joong-ki called me ‘hyung’ instead of ‘noona’ (older sister), so I guessed I heard wrong.”
And it did not end here, as the ‘Vincenzo’ star offered his Rome for the newlyweds for their honeymoon stay.
Ahn Hye Kyun stated, Originally, just having Song Joong-ki hosting the wedding was a great gift, but he suggested, ‘Since we have a house in Rome, how about you two staying there for honeymoon?’”
Interestingly, Ahn Hye Kyung’s husband, cinematographer Song Yo Hun, also has a strong connection with the star as they have collaborated on ‘Vincenzo’. Ahn Hye Kyung tied the knot in September 2023 and the starry ceremony was attended by Kim Young Hee, Kang Ah Rang, Park Seul Gi, and Park Seo Joon among others.
