Parents in Thailand have caused a stir in the online community by spending a massive amount to buy a limited-edition Lamborghini Countach LPI800-4 supercar as a gift for their daughter.
In late December 2023, at the “La Prima Delivery Ceremony” for Lamborghini, Kim Akapat Phornprapha, a wealthy businessman in Thailand, set a new record by receiving a special Countach LPI 800-4 to gift to his 6-year-old daughter, Arpels, on her birthday.
This special Countach is one of 112 limited-edition cars, and it bears the last number, 112/112. The car proudly displays the signatures of several famous personalities, such as Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, Pagani Automobili S.p.A Founder Horacio Pagani, and Centro Stile Lamborghini Design Director Mitja Borkert.
The unique paint color of this Countach LPI 800-4 is named “Kim Ap1 Ivory,” inspired by the favorite color of Mr. Phornprapha’s 6-year-old daughter. This makes Arpels the youngest owner of a Lamborghini hypercar in the world.
Valued at over 400 million Baht, this car will be a special asset for Arpels as she grows older.

The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is a modern rendition of the legendary Countach from the 1970s. The Italian automaker produced only 112 limited units, all of which were quickly sold out.
The LPI 800-4 borrows some design elements from Lamborghini’s first hybrid, the Sian, including the closed front clamshell combined with wing-shaped taillights. On its sides, Lamborghini designers have incorporated arrow-shaped air intakes, a traditional and iconic detail from the original Countach version. Another notable feature on the LPI 800-4 is the scissor-style doors.
Additionally, the wheels are designed with 20-inch fronts and 21-inch rears, inspired by the Countach LP400 S. Inside the cockpit, the steering wheel and seats are taken from the Aventador model, while the central control panel and dashboard are creatively crafted based on the Sián.
To mark the difference for the Countach LPI 800-4, Lamborghini engineers innovated the air vents and added some leather-trimmed decorative elements.
This car is equipped with an 8.4-inch touchscreen for the entertainment information system.

Specifically, the Countach LPI 800-4 uses a naturally aspirated V12 6.5L engine producing 769 horsepower, aided by a 34 horsepower electric motor provided by Lamborghini’s 48-volt supercapacitor technology.
This engine setup is familiar, borrowing the same hybrid drivetrain from the Sian, albeit with slightly less power. This isn’t the only similarity with the Sian, as the roof clamshell combines with a similar engine cover design as seen on the Sian. Additionally, there are hexagonal-shaped taillights, similar in appearance.
The interior layout is also borrowed from the Sian, although you’ll find Countach logos and subtle differences paying tribute to the classic car. The clean lines of the original Countach LP400 play a significant role in this revival. The front remains flat but without the popped-up headlights, and designers added a recess behind the headlights mimicking the old lenses.
At the rear, aside from the taillight cluster, the diffuser structure and the diffuser blades bear many resemblances to the Sian. An arching canopy fully encompasses the exhaust with 4 outlets, the license plate placement, and a raised rear diffuser. Beneath the taillight cluster are two square-shaped air outlets.
