Han So-hee expressed her honest thoughts on her pre-debut tattoos
On January 15, Han So Hee sat down with media outlet Wikitree for an interview, marking the end of the Netflix series ‘Gyeongseong Creature.’
In response, she candidly shared, “I embarked on my acting journey after removing my tattoos. I had my own personal life, and I was reluctant to part with the tattoos; after all, I paid for it, didn’t I?” Her sincerity was complemented by a playful moment as she exchanged glances with the staff, sparking laughter.
She further expressed, “Starting an acting career was incredibly intimidating for me. I had never studied acting formally or attended a school for it. Despite this, I found myself thinking, ‘Am I really going to take the plunge into acting?’ It was a path I had never envisioned for myself.” She added, “If I didn’t work hard (in this field), then I thought I would be trampling on the efforts of countless people who worked hard to be in this position.”
When asked about something she deeply desired, she humorously responded, “It was getting a piercing. I really wanted one for two years. I kept telling myself, ‘I’ll get one after this project ends.'”
She also confessed about the sense of responsibility she feels being an actress. She shared, “I feel the pressure to do well. I always tell myself I have to do well.” She elaborated, “I feel that I am at the edge of the cliff but it’s manageable. I believe that if I’m not good at what I do, then I should step down. For example, if I’m not good at cooking ramen, but I run a ramen store, I should reconsider,” and underscored her belief in the importance of excelling in her chosen field.
