Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo chose an intimate ceremony for their wedding.
On Saturday, March 23, 2024, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte officiated the couple’s civil wedding, witnessed only by their family members.
In attendance were Ria’s brother, Congressman Arjo Atayde, who was accompanied by his wife Maine Mendoza; younger brother Xavi and younger sister Gela; parents, Art Atayde and Sylvia Sanchez.Zanjoe’s family was represented by his father, Zosimo Marudo, and siblings Zosanne, Zjaye, Zaniejean, and Zandro, who came with his wife Evangeline.
Following the ceremony, the couple’s wedding reception took place at Concept Space Manila in Quezon City.
Spotted at the venue was Kathryn Bernardo .
In Gela’s Instagram Story, she wrote, “Another one I missed [heart emoji] Love you, ate @bernardokath.”
Daniel Padilla (left) arrived with Joshua Garcia (right), while Zanjoe’s brother Zandro (middle) seized the opportunity to take a photo with the Kapamilya network’s leading men.
Ginebra star LA Tenorio served as a groomsman. He came with his wife Chesca Bugia.
Displayed in the photo below were Ria and Zanjoe’s closest friends from the entertainment sphere, among them Enchong Dee, Jane Oineza, RK Bagatsing, celebrity stylist David Milan, along with Dominic Ochoa and his wife Denise Go-Ochoa, who did Ria’s bridal make-up.
It’s Showtime host Darren Espanto also came and gave Ria a tight hug.
