Actress Song Hye Kyo has been revealed to be living in Korea’s most expensive home.
On Friday episode of tvN’s enews, they ranked stars who have given their parents very expensive houses as gifts.
Kim Hyun Joong ranked fifth, gave his parents an apartment worth 900,000,000 Korean Won. He even bought them a chicken business in Ilsan because he supposedly was a troublemaker during his school times.
Soccer player Park Ji Sung gave his parents a gift of a house in Suwon’s wealthy neighborhood valued at 3,600,000,000 Korean Won.
In third place was Song Hye Kyo, who was raised by a single mother. She bought a house worth 6,000,000,000 Korean Won for her and her mother and they are now living together. This house is said to be 464.84m2 and is known to be the most expensive single family home in Korea.
Second was Won Bin, who gave his parents a house that won the 2008 Korean Architecture Award.
In first place was Lee Hyori, who not only gave her parents a house but even bought the building where her aunt owns a small restaurant. She is even reaching out to her relatives and taking care of them. She bought the parking building that was close to the other building and is said to have cost her around 3,000,000,000 won in total.
Song Hye-kyo succeeds with her role in “The Glory”
“For me, my mother’s happiness is the most important. She loves watching “The Glory” and her approval means a lot to me personally, even more so than the praise from the audience. I always worry about how the audience will react to my role because this is related to my work, the evaluation of the results of my labor. However, my mother’s comments and views about the role are always the most important,” said Song Hye-kyo.
Looking back on her journey, she emphasized that receiving the award is not an individual achievement but a testament to the success of the whole crew of “The Glory”. Song Hye-kyo does not hide her ambition, the fire of her profession is always burning in her. She looks forward to exploring different genres in recent films.

This star expressed gratitude to screenwriter Kim Eun-sook, who wrote the script of “The Glory” and before that “Descendants of the Sun” and many other hit movies. The two are also close friends.
