Kapamilya host Bianca Gonzalez took to her social media page a sweet message on her two-season journey on The Voice of the Philippines on the Kapamilya network.
On her personal Instagram account, Bianca recalled her short but incredible journey as one of the main hosts for the singing competition.
“What an INCREDIBLE experience it has been to host The Voice Kids and The Voice Teens for its final two editions on ABS-CBN,” she wrote.
Bianca expressed happiness working with several artists, such as the coaches and the staff and her co-host and “little brother,” Kapamilya star Robi Domingo.
“What a JOY that I get to host alongside my baby bro Robi (who continues to make me so proud as he shows why he is one of the most in demand hosts in the country),” she said.
Bianca went on, “and that I get to be with OPM icons and legends like Coach Bamboo (the OG coach whose artistry and creativity is awe-inspiring and always bring all of us to another level), Coach KZ (na kung biniyayaan ako ng boses na pangkanta, I would totally wish for her voice), and Coach Martin (I meannn 42 years in the industry what a feattt and what a one in a million human being this guy is).”
“and behind the scenes that I get to work again with Sir Lui Andrada (who I worked with for many years in the first decade of my career) and to finally work with Miss Joyce’s unit and the entire staff and production crew,” she continued.
Bianca ended her message by bidding farewell to the show, saying: “I will treasure the memories of the past two years for life!!!! A bittersweet goodbye, but I feel crazy lucky I that got this opportunity to be a part of The Voice legacy.”
Bianca joined The Voice of the Philippines family on the fifth season of kids edition in February 2023 after the exit of one of the pioneer hosts, Toni Gonzaga.
The singing competition first started airing on ABS-CBN in June 2013. It is the first franchise in the Southeast Asian region after Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia. It produced a lot of artists and performers in all its ten seasons, including the regular show, kids’ edition and teens edition, the first franchise version in Asia.
Last May 18 and 19, The Voice Teens Philippines Season 3 closed its chapter on ABS-CBN, hailing Jillian Pamat of Coach Bamboo’s Kamp Kawayan as the champion.
In the farewell message during the final episode, Bianca and Robi led the final bow of all who have worked, on and off cam, for the past ten seasons of the Kapamilya show.
“Sa pamamaalam sa ABS-CBN sa isa sa pinakamalaking talent reality show sa mundo, nagpapasalamat ang ABS-CBN at ang lahat ng bumubuo ng The Voice of the Philippines at sa lahat ng mga naging bahagi ng sampung edisyon na ito,” Robi said.
“We would love to say thank you to our coaches Apl de Ap, Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Sharon Cuneta, Martin Nievera, KZ, and Bamboo.”
Bianca added, “Isang karangalan din ang umapak sa stage na ito. Sa lahat ng naging host and V-reporters, maraming, maraming salamat: Luis Manzano, Toni Gonzaga, Alex Gonzaga, Yeng Constantino, Kim Chiu, as well as all the hosts of the online shows.”
“Sa lahat po ng artists at kani-kanilang pamilya na nagbahagi ng kanilang kuwento at pangarap sa ating programa, maraming salamat po,” Robi remarked.
“And kami na nakikita niyo on camera pero napakarami pa pong mga tao who worked off cam. Sa lahat po ng bumubuo ng music, creative, production, technical, art and all the other departments, kami po ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa inyo,” Bianca said.
“Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for one final bow… Hanggang sa muli nating pagtuklas, pagkilala at pagdiwang sa galing ng mga Pilipino,” she continued.
Robi stated, “Whatever happens, we will continue to let our voices be heard.”
Besides Bianca, artists, coaches, and hosts also expressed gratitude for the show, including Robi Domingo, Darren Espanto, Luis Manzano, Apl.de.Ap, Bamboo, and KZ Tandingan.
