Coleen Garcia got candid about her married life with Billy Crawford, sharing that there were “a lot of instances” that almost led to their split.
In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the actress said that while there were times they nearly called it quits, it never became an option for them, especialy for Billy.
“Never kaming nag-break. There were a lot of instances na parang almost, pero not really kasi hindi siya pumapayag,” she said.
According to Coleen, Billy constantly fights for their relationship and reminds them of their commitment in marriage even in difficult times. “Hindi talaga. Sabi niya, ‘No, we’ll fix this.’ Ipinaglalaban niya talaga always ‘yung relationship and I’m thankful for that,” she shared.
“Most of the times na gumi-give up na ako, it’s really not because may ginawa siya pero dahil napapagod ako,” she said.
“Kasi, I think ganun lang kasi talaga ako, Tito Boy. Ganun lang talaga ako kalala. ‘Ayoko na, tapos na’ko!’ Palagi akong ganun,” she continued with a laugh.
Coleen went on to express how grateful she is for having Billy in her life. “It took being with somebody who’s the opposite, na who taught me the value of commitment talaga, and nadadala ko siya everywhere in my job, in everywhere so nagpapasalamat talaga ako kay Billy.”
Coleen and Billy have been the subject of split rumors, which the former thinks may have started because they have been spending some time off social media. Coleen denied the breakup speculations last month, saying they have just been busy with work and “are going through a major transitional phase in our lives.”
“We’re moving houses and Billy has new businesses, siguro kasi hindi kami nagpaparamdam online?” she said in an interview with Luis Manzano.
Coleen and Billy tied the knot in an intimate wedding on Balesin Island in 2018. They welcomed their son Amari via home birth two years later.
