As BOYNEXTDOOR is being involved in a controversy after their bodyguard violently pushes a fan at the airport, a fan of a HYBE boygroup, who had been in a similar situation, spoke up on X (Twitter).
The fan wrote, “Did HYBE hire gangsters, not bodyguards? At the airport where a HYBE artist was boarding, a bodyguard grabbed my shirt and threw me out. I went to the hospital for a checkup, discovered my bones were broken and had to wear a cast. At the time of the incident, the artists and security team had all left, and the company had no customer service, so I had to consider myself stepping on dog poop that day.
The artist and security team had left, and there was no one to help, so I just remained silent to not cause a negative impact on the group. About 10 days later, I went there to ask how to contact the security team. They complained why it was until then did I come to them, if I had spoken right away they would have taken measures.
Do I have an X-ray in my eyes, how could I know I had muscle pain or broken bones at that time. They said it wasn’t their fault because they had to protect the artist, that’s it. It’s not intentional. HYBE’s security always uses the excuse of protecting artists to abuse fans like that?”
The person also posted photos of the hospital’s diagnosis and her arm cast. Despite her anger, the fan however did not reveal the name of the group.
Meanwhile, bodyguards’ abuse is becoming a heated topic in the entertainment industry after BOYNEXTDOOR’s bodyguard was criticized for violently pushing a Chinese fan at the airport.
