These pictures show just how far U.S. star Rihanna has come over the years.
In newly released images, the singer is seen as a fresh-faced teen penning song lyrics and walking down the hall of fame at her record company headquarters.
The Barbadian star moved to the States at the age of 16 to pursue a career under the guidance of record producer Evan Rogers, who scouted her while on holiday in Barbados.

Rogers then brought her to the attention of Jay-Z’s record label Def Jam Recordings and she was signed within hours of her audition.
These new pictures of the 22-year-old star were released by Rogers’s record label SRP via its Twitter account.
The photos are not dated, but they would have been taken around the time the Umbrella singer moved to the States back in 2005.
