Many people still don't know this

Many people have a habit of putting their phone in their pocket, but they don’t know whether the screen should face inward or outward—and they've been doing it wrong.

Mobile phones have become an essential part of our lives. Wherever we go, we carry our phones with us. Many people put their phone in a handbag, but there are also many who prefer to keep it in their pocket for easier access.

1.   Phone screen facing inward

When placing your phone in your pocket, the screen should face inward rather than outward. If the screen faces outward, it is more likely to get scratched or even broken due to friction or impact while walking. Additionally, since the phone's battery is located at the back, having the screen face inward also helps with heat dissipation.

2.   Place the charging port facing upwards

Many people put their phone in their pocket with the charging port facing downward after use. This is incorrect because dirt and lint in the pocket may enter the phone's speaker or charging port, which could reduce sound quality and affect charging. Therefore, always remember to place the charging port facing upwards.

In addition, to ensure the safety of your phone, you should take note of the following:

1.   Use a phone case

You can use a leather case or a phone cover to protect your phone wherever you place it. This will help prevent scratches, damage, or breakage in case the phone falls.

2.   Keep the phone in a handbag or backpack

If you don’t need to use your phone frequently, it’s safer to keep it in your handbag or backpack to protect both the phone and yourself.
