Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, Raven Rigor shared their experience with the kids.
Kapamilya stars Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, and Raven Rigor visited the abandoned children at Ephesus: Home for Girls in Guiguinto, Bulacan. The three spread the love with the children to kick off Christmas and start the season of giving back to those who need it the most.
The Dirty Linen actors shared their experience as they spent a whole day interacting with the children at Ephesus.
“My number one reason din kung bakit ito yung pinili namin bahay is because we want to share the love especially sa mga bata kasi ayokong mawala sa kanila yung Christmas feeling,” Francine shared. “Kasi kapag lumalaki ka na, parang nawawala na yung feeling na excitement na magpa-Pasko na so yun yung mission ko sa sarili ko for them ngayon,” she continued.
“Ang hirap madescribe nung pakiramdam ko ng makita namin sila. Kita namin kasi sa kanila na nagraradiate yung pagiging thankful nila na bumisita kami––na masaya sila na nandito kami ngayon. Masasabi ko na naramdaman ko ay grateful ako na nadito rin ako ngayon,” Francine shared.
Ephesus opened in 2001 for the abandoned and neglected girls ages four to 17. It serves as a home that continuously provides medical and dental care for their wards and supports them in their school needs as well.
Francine couldn’t help but become emotional as she saw some of the children. She opened up about how she regretted complaining over simple things as compared to those in the shelter who face different situations from her.
“Nireregret ko yung moment na nagiging mareklamo ako, na nahihirapan na ako kasi parang dun ko narealize na anong right ko na mag reklamo. Sila, mas grabe yung pinagdaanan nila sa’kin pero lagi silang grateful, lagi silang nagpapasalamat,” she added.
Meanwhile, Raven assured the children that they will be back for more interactions with them. Seth, on the other hand, wished that he would see the children they saw grow to be successful people in life.
“Nagpapasalamat kami na pinayagan niyo kami na makanood sa inyo. Maasahan niyo kami––nina ate Francine, kuya Seth, [at] ako si kuya Raven––babalik kami dito. Naramdaman ko talaga yung pamilya dito. Love namin kayo at sana magpakabait kayo palagi,” Raven promised.
