How dirty the hood
How to clean a range hood without disassembling it?
Before cleaning the range hood, you need to prepare the necessary tools and detergents:
Soft cloth or sponge.
Warm water.
Mild detergent (diluted dishwashing liquid can be used).
Soft brush.
Large tray (to soak the filter if needed).
Make sure the range hood is completely turned off and unplugged before starting to clean.
First, use a soft cloth soaked in warm water and gently wipe the outer surface of the range hood. For stubborn stains, you can use a mild detergent. Avoid using strong detergents or sharp tools to avoid scratching the surface of the machine.
If the range hood has a removable filter, remove the filter and soak it in warm water mixed with a detergent solution. Use a soft brush to clean grease and dirt, then let the filter dry completely before reinstalling.
If the filter is not removable, you can clean it with a soft cloth soaked in warm soapy water, but be careful not to let water get into the machine.
When cleaning the inside of the machine, use a soft sponge soaked in warm water to clean it. If there is grease stuck in hard-to-reach areas, use a soft brush to clean it.
Finally, check the hood to make sure there is no residual cleaning solution or water. Use a dry cloth to wipe it off completely before using it.
To keep the machine running efficiently and prolong its life, you should clean the hood periodically, about once every 1-2 months. Keeping the machine clean not only helps eliminate unpleasant odors but also maintains a fresh, airy kitchen space.
