Inside Carina Lau and Tony Leung’s luxury lifestyle: Hong Kong’s ultimate power couple splurge a US$150 million net worth on Hermès handbags, lavish holidays, 10 homes – and 1 lucky nephew

Few people would even try and argue the fact that Tony Leung and Carina Lau rank among the most well-recognised, well-loved and richest power couples in Hong Kong.

Carina Lau Ka-ling and Tony Leung Chiu-wai sported matching outfits before the trend caught on.
Both making their claim to fame in the 1980s – right before the peak of the city’s golden age in cinema – the pair first met on the set of The Replica in 1984 but reportedly didn’t start dating until 1989.

And then they defied local celebrity convention, remaining unmarried for almost 20 years before tying the knot in a romantic ceremony in Bhutan in 2008.
