On February 25.2, 3 members of Kpop girl group LE SSERAFIM, including Kim Chaewon, Sakura and Kazuha, appeared as guests on SBS’s popular reality TV show Running Man.
During his first appearance on Running Man, Yoo Jae Suk praised LE SSERAFIM as a group that debuted not long ago (March 3.2022, less than 2 years), but because the group has so many hits until now, it feels like LE SSERAFIM has been in operation for a long time.
Kazuha – a Japanese female idol – revealed that she had just come to Korea and started trainee life for about 2 years. Kazuha is known as the member with the shortest training period in the LE SSERAFIM group. The female idol only spent 3-5 months as a trainee before debuting.
Ji Seok Jin expressed admiration: “You succeeded immediately. You should know that you are really lucky to have come this far in just two years.” Ji Seok Jin’s reaction led to humorous criticism from other members of the show.
Yoo Jae Suk joked with Ji Seok Jin: “You should also know that you are really lucky to participate in Running Man. Otherwise, you’ll just stay at home”, making the whole studio laugh.
Sakura is also a member from Japan. She said she has been active as an idol since 2011 in Japan. To date, she has 14 years of experience as an idol.
Sakura was a member of the Japanese girl group HKT48 and the Korean group IZ*ONE, before working in LE SSERAFIM.
“I debuted in 2011, in my first year of middle school” – Sakura said. Yoo Jae Suk is curious about Sakura’s current salary, when she has been active in 3 different groups.
Yoo Jae Suk asked Sakura: “So do you make a lot of money?”. Sakura answered honestly: “I earn quite a lot.”
Kim Chaewon – Korean female idol, once a member of the girl group after IZ*ONE with Sakura, also revealed her current income. Although he did not mention it directly like a fellow group member, Chaewon said: “Life is becoming much more comfortable now.”
LE SSERAFIM is a music group of Source Music Company (under HYBE Group), debuted in March 3.2022 with a 6-member lineup: Kim Garam, Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha and Hong Eun Chae. After that, Kim Garam left the group because of the school violence scandal.
