Kapamilya comedienne Melai Cantiveros took to social media to pen a message for Korean actor Do Ji-han who will have a cameo in her upcoming film Ma’am Chief: Shakedown in Seoul.
It can be recalled that in July, Melai shared that she met the actor when the latter was jogging in Seoul. In her latest Instagram post on Monday, October 29, Melai revealed that she actually got to work with Ji-han.
“Mga Kamsamiii kasi di ko tlaga nakita nagjogging si Dojihan dati sa Korea3333, nakasama ko tlaga siya sa shooting sa #MaamChief na showing na cya ngayun November 15 , and itu na ngaaaa 16 Days nalang #MaamChief naaaaaaa🥰😍😍,” she wrote.
Melai praised the actor for his kindness saying, “With apaka gwapo na @dojihan , gentleman and apaka bango pa 🥰😍😍 Watch nyu kami ha 🙏🏻🇰🇷👮♀️🙏🏻 Kamsammidaaa @dojihan for being so good to me when im in Korea.”
She continued: “Alam nyu nagkwentuhan kmi sabi ko na mga Pinay gustu ang mga Oppa , e ang oppa s aknila is Papa , sabi nya mga Papa???? Sabi ko noo ang Gwapo sa amin tawag si Oppaaaa , natawa cya sabi nya ‘Hah’ ay isang tawa lang? Matipid din sa tawa si Dojihan hehhehehehehe the Best.”
Fans of Melai were quick to react to her post.
“Mamshie Mels ikaw na talaga,” one fan said.
“Yey, excited na kami manuod ng mga kapatid ko ng maam chief,” another fan wrote.
Ji-han gained recognition for his role in the popular 2016 series Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth and also made a notable appearance in the 2012 film The Tower, which led to his nomination for the Baeksang Arts Award in the category of Best New Actor.
He also joined the cast of Lovers in Bloom in 2017 and 100 Days My Prince in 2018.
Ma’am Chief is set to be released in theaters on November 15.
